The San Antonio Bead Society was founded in 1991 in San Antonio, by a small group of people dedicated to bringing together individuals interested in all aspects of beads and beadwork. Peggy Mahan was our founder and first president. SABS is open to everyone regardless of gender, nationality, color, religion or physical limitations. Artists of all skill levels, including absolute beginners, are welcome
