I love languages and think they are essential to understand one’s culture and create a connection between one another. I speak 4 languages, English, Italian, Spanish and Chinese and I’ve been learning Spanish for 6 years! I helped create Spanish 6 and when I am not learning more about languages and cultures around the world, I am also one of Westlake’s Choir Presidents, the secretary of Westlake’s Junior State of America and a Model United Nations mentor! I am so excited for our honor society to grow and accomplish great things!

Hola! I am Liah Goyal, one of the officers for National Spanish Honor Society. I am so excited to be apart of this amazing organization as I love everything we do. I enjoy volunteering, traveling, hanging out with my friends, and more. I am in other clubs and organizations at Westlake but SHH is different than any of them. I can’t wait to see SHH grow over the next year!

¡Hola! I am so excited to be one of your officers for la Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica! To further introduce myself, I am (currently) a Junior at Westlake; I love traveling, fashion, giving back to my community, and have always had a place in my heart for Hispanic culture as I am Puerto Rican myself. I am so honored to watch Westlake SHH grow and develop with your help!! ¡Gracias!

Hi, I'm Kate! My friends describe me as dedicated and compassionate, and I hope to embody these qualities as an officer in la Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. I'm a junior at Westlake and in my free time I like to write code, play cello, write music, and take care of my cats. I also hope to one day become fluent in Spanish and perhaps other languages too!
